Studio Terms of Service & Commission Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
1. Commission Agreements & Payments
All custom visual design projects, illustrations, and retainer agreements require a 50% upfront deposit before I start working on your piece, unless you prefer to pay in full upfront.
Accepted global payment channels include Stripe, PayPal, Wise, and Pix (for Brazilian clients). Invoices can be issued in USD, EUR, GBP, or BRL; or automatically via Stripe (in your local currency).
Work officially begins once the deposit is received and we confirm all the details of your order.
For corporate entities, organizations, or studios, formal B2B invoicing and purchase order (PO) workflows are available upon request.
2. Intellectual Property & Commercial Usage
Personal tier commissions are intended for personal display, avatars, wallpapers, prints, and non-monetized social channels.
Commercial tier packages transfer commercial usage, merchandising, branding, and monetization rights to the client upon receipt of final payment.
For custom branding and logo designs, clients receive the exclusive right to register and use the final asset as a trademark under their business.
Levi Studio retains the standard right to showcase completed non-confidential artwork in portfolios, websites, and social media showcase feeds.
After a commission is delivered and downloaded, I'm not responsible for what the client does with the file. However, commercial usage rights are strictly limited to the client and their brand only.
Crediting me when posting your commission online is always appreciated, but not mandatory. After all, you paid for it, you own it and it's yours :D.
3. Permanent NDA & Total Privacy Guarantee
If you choose the Private / NDA option, your artwork is 100% permanently confidential.
The project will never be posted publicly, never shared in portfolios, never shown on social channels, and never discussed or revealed in both personal or professional contexts (with the sole exception of possible mandatory statutory legal requirements).
If your project is tied to an upcoming game trailer, product launch, or marketing embargo date, I will hold off on any public showcase until after your official reveal.
4. AI Ingestion & Scraping Protection
All original illustrations, design assets, and project files produced by Levi Studio are strictly protected against unauthorized AI training.
Artwork SHOULD NOT be scraped, ingested, or used to train generative AI models, LoRAs, or automated image generators without my permission, no exceptions. I don't use AI in my art and I don't need it; it's a disrespect to the human and to art.
If a client commissions artwork from me and inputs it into an AI generator or training dataset, they will be immediately and permanently blocked and banned from commissioning me ever again.
5. Content Boundaries & Right to Refuse
I draw original characters (OCs), anime/manga fanart, real people (stylized in my art style), NSFW, furries, anthros, monsters, humanoids, and business/branding/gaming assets.
I will NOT draw politics, hate speech, or offensive/illegal content.
I reserve the right to decline any commission inquiry for any reason.
6. Turnaround Timelines & Deadlines
Standard turnaround ranges from 3 to 14 business days depending on complexity and queue position. Priority rush options are available when scheduled in advance.
If you have a specific target date or hard deadline (such as a birthday, stream debut, project launch, etc), just let me know upfront in your brief so I can make sure we plan for it.
Delays in client feedback will naturally adjust target delivery dates. If you go completely silent for 14+ business days without letting me know, your project will be put on pause so I can keep other active orders moving.
7. Milestone Review Stages & Feedback
I send progress screenshots directly via Discord DM or email at each stage so you see your piece come to life step by step.
Stage 1 (Composition & Sketch): This is the time to nail down the pose, anatomy, perspective, and overall framing. We tweak everything here before moving forward.
Stage 2 (Lineart & Base Color): Once the sketch is approved, I lay down clean lineart and base colors. We can make small line adjustments or shift color palettes here.
Stage 3 (Final Rendering & Lighting): Adding shading, lighting effects, and details. Minor lighting tweaks and color balance adjustments are included before final export.
Each stage includes reasonable adjustments to make sure you're happy with the result. When reviewing drafts, trying to bundle your feedback and thoughts together in one message helps us keep a smooth, quick rhythm, though don't hesitate to reach out if something comes up!
Once you give the green light on a stage, we lock it in and move forward to the next phase.
8. Major Changes & Redoing Work
Major pose or structural overhauls requested after the sketch phase has been approved will be assessed as additional studio time.
If you want to completely change the character, concept, or idea halfway through after I've already started drawing, that will count as a separate commission or extra work.
9. Deliverable Formats & Production
Final deliverables are provided in high-resolution formats (transparent PNG, vector SVG, layered PSD, or .AI (Adobe Illustrator) files) depending on what was chosen in your commission.
Files can be tailored to your production workflow (such as CMYK color profiles for physical apparel/merch printing, or RGB transparent layers for game engines and stream graphics).
10. Cancellation, Chargebacks & Refunds
If a project is cancelled before drafting begins, the deposit is refunded minus transaction fees.
Once sketch drafting has commenced, the 50% deposit is retained to cover allocated studio hours.
Completed and delivered digital files are non-refundable.
Filing an unauthorized chargeback or payment dispute after work has started or after files are delivered is a violation of these terms. Doing so immediately revokes all rights to use the artwork and results in a permanent blacklist.
11. File Retention & Delivery
I keep backup copies of completed high-resolution deliverables for up to 30 days after delivery. Please make sure to download and back up your files as soon as you receive them.
