Frequently Asked Questions & Client Guide
Everything you need to know about commissioning artwork, payment methods, delivery timelines, and file specs.
Payments & Invoicing
How do payments work?
Every custom visual commission requires a 50% upfront deposit before production begins. The remaining 50% is due upon completion and review of watermarked previews, right before the unwatermarked master files are delivered. Payment methods may differ based on regional practices. Refunds are generally not offered, unless under extreme circumstances.
Which payment channels do you accept?
We support Stripe (credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay), PayPal, Wise (international bank transfer), and Pix (with 0% fees for Brazilian clients). You can review all official terminals and copy verified credentials directly at our Client Payment Hub (/pay). Official invoices can be issued in USD, EUR, GBP, or BRL.
Can I pay in full upfront?
Yes. Paying in full upfront is welcome and saves you an extra invoice step upon delivery.
Workflow & Turnaround
What is the typical turnaround time?
Standard turnaround is usually 1 to 2 weeks depending on current queue depth and composition complexity. For time-sensitive events, we offer a Priority Rush Queue add-on (48 to 72 hours).
What does the production process look like?
1. Intake & Brief: We confirm your references, character details, and framing. 2. Rough Sketch / Composition: You receive a pose draft to review proportions, expression etc. 3. Inking & Shading: Clean lineart, screentones, or full color rendering are applied. 4. Final Delivery: High-resolution files delivered via direct download or Google Drive link.
How do revisions work?
All major revisions (pose, composition, outfit, facial expression) are free and welcomed during the initial rough sketch phase. Once the sketch is approved and inking/coloring begins, revisions are limited to minor color adjustments or small detailing.
Deliverables & Formats
What file formats will I receive?
Standard deliverables include ultra-high-resolution PNG files (300+ DPI) with both transparent and finished backgrounds. For logo and branding suites, you receive master vector formats (.AI, .SVG, and .EPS). Photoshop (.PSD)/source files are available as an add-on.
Can I print the artwork?
Yes. All standard illustrations are rendered at print-ready 300 DPI resolution or more, suitable for high-quality physical posters, apparel, or convention prints.
Rights, Privacy & NDA
Can I keep my commission 100% private / under NDA?
Yes, and this is completely free. If you select Private / NDA during configuration, your artwork will never be posted to social media, never featured on this portfolio, never discussed privately nor publically, and kept completely confidential.
What is the difference between Personal and Commercial rights?
Personal tier is for avatars, profile banners, wallpapers, personal printing, and non-monetized uses. Commercial tier allows you to use the artwork on monetized YouTube/Twitch streams, merchandise, physical products, game assets, commercial branding, etc.
What is your policy on Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
All artwork produced by Levi Studio is 100% human-made with zero generative AI. Levi Studio strictly forbids the ingestion, scraping, or training of any commissioned artwork into AI models or LoRAs. Violating clients are permanently banned.
Do you have a game but no budget to get that fancy? Do you work with indie developers?
Yes! If you are a solo developer, student team, or micro-indie studio creating a game without an agency budget, reach out anyway. If you have a working playable demo, build, or prototype to show real progress, we can discuss flexible creative partnerships across Steam capsule art, in-game UI and UX teardowns, character concepts, or community setup. In return, we look into in-game credits, logo placement on trailers and splash screens, community cross-promotion, or a small share of initial launch earnings. Ideas alone are not accepted, but serious effort and passion projects are always welcomed.
